The Crick3t Lab brand was formed in 2019 by Luke Du Plooy. Having played and loved the sport his whole life, he was very enthusiastic about making his own cricket bats.

"I started the brand from scratch and I’m still designing everything to this day by myself. It all began with doing repairs and refurbishments from my garage at home, but as the demand grew, it all transformed into so much more.I opened a new work shop in Suffolk from where I am currently handcrafting cricket bats and doing full bat repairs and refurbishments. Recently I have also launched my own brand of gloves, pads, bats, and bags available in the full range."
